Bought this for my Nikon DX kit. Can't vouch for the longevity of it, but i wanted a sturdy light tripod that when closed doesn't take up too much space in my bag. This fit's that description a treat. My one gripe would be that it takes time to screw and unscrew the legs, a quick lock system would be better. For some reason (possibly the compact size for folding) most models of this size use the same method so I won't drop a star. This makes it useless for a one shot situation because of the time it takes, but it's super light and I can carry the tripod and camera around fully extended no problem.

High quality product ! Included nice carry bag, so its great for carrying and storage the tripod. This tripod is easy to use, compact, lightweight and in same time feels steady and secure. Also,can be used as a monopod. I like that this tripod legs have 4 extensions. So, I can change tripod high where ever I want.

So this a full featured professional tripod with lots features. The tripod is ultra compact and light weight, 30CM folded up but this can reach a maximum height of 132.5cm and the tripod weighs only 1.26kg, which is amazing. Comes with a nice padded bag, easy for the carrying and storage of the tripod. You have 5 sections to this tripod with quick release leg locks to adjust the height. The Turnable 30mm ball head is very smooth and will work wonders for pan and tilts. There is a quick release plate and you have a screw which can be turned by hand, no screwdriver required. Has a built in bubble horizontal level to help find the balance. I love how you can fold up the legs to 180 degrees for confident storage and making travelling even easier. You can detach all these legs and use this as a monopod. Over all I am well impressed with this tripod it is very high quality. Great tripod. This medium size tripod is made of aluminum for lightweight (1250 g) and robustness. The set came packed in camo sack that makes it very compact (just over 30 cm long). The 360° rotation ball head is additionally protected by small, soft padded sack. It is very versatile in adjustments. Each leg has 4 extensions and the center column 2. It can be as short as 30 cm and as high as 132 cm. One of the legs can be detached creating monopod with 1/4” screw connection allowing installing camera on it. The remaining two legs are permanently attached and have additionally soft handles. To be honest I would expect it to be on the monopod leg as well. All mechanisms work perfectly fine which makes the whole system very stable even on uneven surfaces also thanks to rubber legs. Despite the fact that I prefer flip lock levers the twist locks are working perfectly fine and even when sections of legs are contracted it doesn’t make it wobbly. Ball head is amazing. I permits adjustments not only in 360 degree rotation but also in 180 degrees vertical movement (90 degrees one side and 90 the other). Furthermore it has a hand rope that is neat when tripod requires quick and comfortable transferring from one location to another. The user manual is good thanks to the drawings. It would be better though if Chinese and English where on separate pages, otherwise it is a bit too crowded. I like the fact that it presents other accessories that can be added to the set as well as different models and it is versioned (a little thing I find cute as someone who has to do a lot with all sorts of documentation). Oh, and it includes nylon belt holder as well. In summary I can say that I like the product a lot so far thanks to its high quality and practicality. Should my judgment changed I will surely update the review. Country of Origin China

This camera tripod is really good. Its small in size but can be made longer very easily. The tripod feels very secure and sturdy. The 3 legs can fold upwards and becomes very compact. What i like is there is like a fabric cover for the top to protect it. Abit like a sock over the important bit. The tripod folds in half and fit perfectly into the bag/case provided. Overall i am very happy

There is a lot of different companies selling this same tripod and a lot of different models of it out there from the Q666C and upwards with the same pictures, so make sure you do your research in height and weight before you buy! Now down to the review. This is by far the best tripod I have ever bought considering I was caught buying alot of cheap ones thinking I was going to save money whereas they weren't up to the task. So if your looking for a tripod for you expensive DSLR, DONT skimp on a cheap tripod as you will save money in the long run. This tripod is small, light and strong, its hold my Nikon D7100 with a battery grip and either my Sigma 10-20mm lens, or my Tamron 24-70mm and with my camera bag attached to the hook on the main pole, also my Sigma 70-200mm lens. The screw off leg for use as a Monopod is a great advantage as I use this alot. The tripod can go low to the ground for those near death experiences with waves lol, Note: Be prepared to clean it well when you get home as the sand hampers the legs from unfolding smoothly. The ball head works well too and holds my camera and 70-200mm lens no problem. So to wrap it up. WELL WORTH THE MONEY IN MY OPINION 10/10

This compares well with my other Giottos carbon fibre tripod. This QZSD Q999C Pro is lighter and compacts smaller and will easily fit in my rucksack. It is not as rigid as the Giottos and this will be because the QZSD uses smaller diameter carbon fibre tubing. I have used it as the fully extended support for my dslr complete with battery grip and pano bracket plus medium weight mid focal length lenses in mild breezes and my loaded rucksack dangling from the centre column and I got very good results even with long exposures. It will be ideal when I need small and light weight as the main factors. If I need the assurance of extra rigidity the Giottos will be accompanying me but at the cost of more bulk and weight. The Giottos was very difficult to pack into a "hand luggage" sized bag when travelling on a plane, however the QZSD Q999C Pro is a breeze.
