I have just taken up photography and needed this type of flashlight.I am doing an evening course and was shown photos with strobe effects and I decided that I need one with that function. So this one has that function and I have some amazing strobe effect pictures by using it.But,it did take quite a lot of working out due to the translation in the instruction booklet and trial and error.I have a limited budget so this one is ideal at a fraction of the cost of a Nikon one.

Using this with my Nikon D3200 and it is really good. Can also be synced off camera. Simple to use. Arrived earlier than advertised. Still need to use it in ‘anger’ but tests so far are good. I am happy to give this 4 stars. Appears well built. Will report back after using it in various situations

A great speedlight that I can attached a radio reliever and use in a speedlight octabox with a strobe that has TTL, manually set to approximately half the power I need of the two strobes combined. I then use my TTL adjust the second strobe to give the final setting using my transceiver, giving the perfect flash. This strobe has the all important external power supply port and I can easily use a Godox PB960 or PB820s all day without any worries at all. Just a warning for any Canon users, you need the Nikon fit Godox cable as it’s a Nikon type port so this is another £11 you might have to lay out if you don’t already have the cable and you don’t want to regularly change batteries. I’m definitely going to get at least one more of these strobes.

Does what it says on the Tin! The flash can be used in four modes on or off the camera as it will work as a wireless connected slave. Off the camera there is a supplied bracket that doubles as a table stand or tripod mount. It can be rotated horizontally through 180⁰ and vertically through 90⁰. 45⁰, 60⁰ & 75⁰ being marked, useful for bounce flash. It even comes with a soft pouch to store the flash in when not in use. My only comment is that the focus grid appears to fire slightly too high, but this seems to be a common observation and doesn't seem to affect the camera's low light focus ability.

I use this with my Nikon 5100 and it works great. My first external flash, so I have little to compare, but it's a vast improvement over the on-camera flash, that's for sure! You have to manually dial the flash brightness, but I kind of like this feature after getting used to it, as it allows precise control over the shot. There's also an integrated flash bounce and diffuser card which pulls out of the top of the flash unit... haven't used them much but they seem like they will come in handy in certain situations so am happy to have them. Recommended.

First of all, this arrived well before the expected date and was well packaged. I'm new to using a speedlite, so I didn't want to spend big to start with. Having read some previously good reviews the Andoer AD-960II seemed ideal. I've had it a while now and it's had a few outings and its more than ideal Easy to use, powerful enough for what I needed, simple easy to use controls. A very happy customer. Well worth the money and a useful and solid addition to your kit if you're on a budget

The product is described as working with several camera brands. I have tested them on Canon and Pentax. Like what others have mentioned here are the great things about this: 1. Inexpensive 2. rotates and tilts to various degrees (unlike some of the cheaper flashes out there) 3. Flash Mode: M/Multi/S1/S2 4. buttons on the front are great 5. has sync cord connection 6. has diffuser that i like I am giving this 5 stars for its price performance. The tilt/swivel and snapping action on the head is smooth and the clicks are snappy and deliberate. The power output is quite nice too. Construction is good quality for the price. Highly recommended for budget photog's and beginners
