Needed a trigger I could use in combination with my Nikon SB800 flashes for off camera TTL & high speed synch. The Nikon built in CLS system is wireless but tricky and often misfires. These work flawlessly. In fact now I can buy the YN TTL flashes with high speed synch and save $ over the Nikon flashes and have high speed synch flash where ever I need it. But the best part is it works in conjunction with my new 600 watt power Rovelight battery powered monolight for high speed synch making overpowering the sun for backlit portraits easy at shutter speeds up to 1/8000 th of a second at f2.8. Amazing....

Works great. The instructions leave a little bit to desire. HOWEVER! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE DRIVER UPGRADE! It is filled with malware that took a while to delete. And after all that, the controller already had the newest update. I have only worked with it for a little while, but I can see it will be much easier to use than Nikon's CLS. I have no complaint about Nikon CLS, but with this system, I can use flash behind people.

Flawless operation. Exactly what I needed. Once you get familiar with the operation they are simple to use, and produce great results if you understand the use of off camera flash systems. These are primarily for outdoor on location shoots, I have three SB700 flashes. I'm seriously considering the new Yongnuo flash as an addition, since the wireless is built in, but mixed reviews are cause for some concern, however if you need wireless control of any Nikon compatible flash, these units are just the ticket. I've used Godox and Pocket Wizard before, but these are far simpler and functionally more flexible. I'm using a D7200, D610 and 3 flash combo, so your mileage may vary, it may be camera/flash dependent, but so far, I'm very impressed. I won't be returning them, but I may get version two of the transceivers soon, just for USB and feature set. I'm sure I can pass these on to friends who want to learn the use of external flashes. 5 out of 5 stars!

These are awesome! I got rid of my expensive Pocket Wizard Plus iii's to have the ability to TTL when using OCF. I also have a D3s and it is not listed as a compatible camera, however, I took a gamble and still purchased them. They work great with the Nikon D3s and all of the functions work as they should. My only gripe is that if the hot shoe touches any bare metal (or if you flash mount has a metal bottom) the triggers won't work. Make sure you have a flash mount that has some sort of coating over the metal or is a plastic mount. It took me a little bit to figure why they weren't working on my Westcott Rapid Octa-Box.

I bought these triggers as soon as I realized I needed High Speed Sync with my Nikon DSLR. I normally use Pocketwizard Plus X triggers, but they do not provide the capability to do HSS (High Speed Sync). These do and they are perfect. So far in my use, they have fired every time (but...see my note below). They are also simple to use. I watched some online videos for them that made everything perfectly clear. By the way, there are some options if you do not want to use HSS. A neutral density filter is one option. Note: The one thing I could not get these to do was utilize HSS with my manual Yongnuo flash. I am not sure if it was because it was a manual flash or not. They worked great with my Nikon flash though.

If there was a wireless system this versatile, inexpensive and after 2 years of using it, reliable 10 years ago...would Pocket Wizard even exist? Easy to use, and in a pinch the receivers can turn into transmitters. Best range I got was over 200 feet, and that's only because I was using a 200mm zoom lens and any further wouldn't have framed right. Now I hear they are making flashes that are compatible with this system, so one less thing to carry / one less wire to break / get iffy when you connect it...

An absolutely outstanding piece of equipment. I'm no genius but I took these out of the boxes, put batteries in, attached them to my camera and 2 speed lights and was up and running in less than 5 minutes. I didn't even have to use the instruction manual. Everything is so intuitive and user friendly. I had no issues syncing the I-TTL function on my SB700 spew light with this gear. And you can't beat the price compared to some of the higher end competitors. Definitely worth every penny.

This is the one to get! Very easy to use and tons of helpful videos on youtube (yeah, don't count on included instructions for help). Already used it in a fast pace photo shoot and it really took me seconds to set up. I may actually buy two more receivers so I have one for each of my flashes. Very satisfied. It came in brand new packaging- clearly never opened. Love it!

Better than I expected. I've used them with Nikon SB800, Neweer 750MKII, Quantum T2, PCB Einstein. Consistently triggers flashes way better than the cheap ebay triggers I had been using. Bulkier than the cheap ebay triggers. Built in AF light doesn't work in one of the units. Supersync works best with the Quantum T2 flash. Runs on two AA batteries.
