Installed the software as instructed by the enclosed manual. Disabled the internal Wi-Fi, restarted laptop. Opened the configuration utility, found my Wi-Fi SSID, connection was made. Opened Chrome browser and all of my sites loaded with no issues. The adapter works as good as the internal Wi-Fi, I haven’t seen any slowdowns or freezing. This adapter will make a great backup to the internal Wi-Fi should the card stop working.

It does not have any of those funky antennas sticking up in the way which is very nice. If you are looking for a decent low priced dongle to add wireless or extend your wireless range this is one you need to consider! This WiFi USB adapter also works very fast for me to play games, runs flawlessly, I wish I could have purchased this earlier! Once after installation, I can hardly remembered that I have plug it into my laptop and it felt very amazing when I suddenly found it. It speeds up to 385 Mbps at 5GHz in my laptop, dont know how did it work in other situations, but it's enough for me :)

This is a great little unit. Looks more like a dust cover for the USB socket but it works great. I'm using it as a wireless link on my raspberry pi running raspbmc. It didn't even require drivers, just simple plug and play. Installation was simple. Switched off the internal G wireless, plugged in this tiny adapter and loaded up the software. No issues at all and was up in less than 10 minutes. This was the last non-11n device I had, so now I've locked the router into 11n mode only. The throughput is noticeably faster for all devices - not just the laptop.

The product came in a cute yellow package and in a cute little box , it had a instruction manual .After I upgraded my old Inspiron 9300 notebook with the best CPU, Graphics card, and maximum memory ever offered on it when it was new years ago, then installed Windows 7 Home Premium. Some drivers were tricky to find, and unfortunately its integral wifi card has no driver I could find to work under Win7. So I got this USB wifi dongle to use with it. Setup was a bit of a headscratcher, because the first time I clicked on the setup file nothing happened. I had to open the mini disk files in explorer and run it a second time from there. But eventually it got detected and installed, and works well connected to a 5G wifi source. I would definitely recommend this card.

I plugged it in to my Windows 10 computer and then installed the drivers from the mini-CD and it worked. It picked up my 2.4 GHz, 5 G and my range extender without problems. Not much else to say when it just works. I have my CD drive vertical so the mini CD wouldn't stay in. I had to tilt my computer over to get it to work. I thought it would be cool if the usb adapter had a small partition for the driver, but it doesn't.

It is a WiFi receiver for placement in devices without a direct access and which require it. Its size is very small so you can take it for integration in any place. It is very convenient. Moreover, when the device is turned on and connected, a small LED will flash as a signal. It is a highly recommended product if we need to have WLAN access and do not have a network cable nearby. Plugged it into a W10 system, drivers loaded automatically, and it worked fine. I haven't had a chance to use this all that much, as it's on a backup system that's only needed occasionally. It came with a driver mini-disk, but that was not needed. So far, quite happy with this product: plug and play, small size, works well.

For the price of 14.99 this little guy is great! In the included pictures you'll see that the WiFi is not as good as when I have my computer hard wired to the modem but that is to be expected as I am pretty far from it with a lot of walls in between. I am disappointed that it is not plug-n-play and drivers do have to be installed prior to use. However, their is a CD included and the drivers can also easily be found on their website. It comes in a very nice little box and is not just thrown into a little plastic bag which I think is really cool and makes it feel more special. The low profile is very nice compared to other WiFi dongles I've owned which stick out about 3-4 inches while this one is maybe an inch long so it's harder for it to get knocked around.
