    Works well. Celcius/Fahrenheit switch hidden under the lid to the battery compartment - no risk of incorrect reading of temperature due to accidentaly switching to the wrong temperature scale. Can set "emissivity" for correct temperature measurement of various surface material. This function is missing on many low cost models.
