    I installed this tach in my '80 suburban to find out my rear axle gear ratio lol. Works like a charm and what I suspected: 3.73s. The gauge housing that was included bolted to the dash faceplate perfectly.The needle shows RPMs smooth, not jumping around. Yes the blue light is bright at night, not so noticeable in the day light. Overall very good for the price.

    I put this in my 1986 Dodge W250 with a rebuilt 360 and 3 speed trans, So when I pull trailer of even plow snow I do not over rev the new engine.. Should have done this long long ago.. So super and perfect, The light blue light is great at night as well..
